It's the flagship of Mainship's new generation of trawlers! The 40 Trawler shares the same prestigious pedigree of the legendary 39, but has many distinctions all her own. Sturdy, stable and highly functional, 40 Trawler also benefits from more modern interior styling, comfort and design to maximize the living area. Besides the especially spacious interior design, the 40 Trawler sports an expanded fly bridge with seating aplenty, with two tables perfectly suited for dining, plus a spectacular summer kitchen for grilling in the great outdoors. The helm station of the 40 Trawler is well-appointed, with room for all your gauges and electronic options. The 40 Trawler's aft deck features a set of aluminum glass-paneled doors to really light up the salon.
Mainship's design team paid special attention to the 40 Trawler's interior, extending the length a full three feet and maximizing accommodations throughout. The raised salon and galley on the 40 Trawler are crafted in warm, rich cherry wood. Watch your favorite show on the flat panel TV from the contemporary sofa (and optional convertible sleeper), or tune into the standard integrated Bose® stereo/DVD. When you are ready to turn in, unwind in the queen-size island berth/master stateroom, complete with hanging lockers, drawers and built-in cabinets. The 40 Trawler also features a guest stateroom that offers twin berths, hanging locker and cabinets.
FUEL ECONOMY With today's fuel prices, you need a boat that can run longer on less. The 40 Trawler brings a whole different twist to the trawler lifestyle – you can cruise with the efficiency of a traditional trawler or sprint to your destination like a modern express cruisers. 40 Trawlers have fuel efficient, slippery hull that are well-designed to provide a high level of efficiency at displacement speeds. These hulls are also designed to run at planning speeds as well. Whether you are full time cruising or just out on the weekends, these Mainships can do it all. Besides, 40 Trawlers has long, deep keel that allow for increased stability and excellent tracking capability. This feature gives a pleasant motion to the boat versus a roll or pounding. The keel also protect the prop for most situations.
