Boat show Biograd, Croatia - 2020
The largest Croatian maritime fair and the largest nautical fair in Central Europe, the Biograd Boat Show, was held for the 22nd time at the end of October 2020 in the Kornati Marina, Biograd. With all the required epidemiological precautions, boat show visitors were able to enjoy, among other things, in a variety of exhibited boats of world-famous brands Sealine, Fairline, Beneteau, Bavaria or Fountaine Pajot and all that in the beautiful marina which in the recent years has become a centre of nautical tourism in northern Dalmatia, mostly thanks to the Boat Fair traditionally held in Biograd.
Over 250 exhibitors, placed their boats to potential buyers and business partners at the same time having the opportunity to participate in the B2B platform - business-to-business platform for business networking of the nautical sector through video contacts and meetings. Exhibitors could also attend the event called "Nautical Days" organised by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce which brings together representatives of the real sector of the nautical industry and state representatives to jointly find the answers on many questions concerning the nautical sector.
On the fair, new and old vessels, diving and boating equipment as well as equipment for water sports were offered, but the most important part of the exhibition programme were boat premieres. For instance, the world-famous Fairline brand presented its motor yacht "Targa 45 GT" for the first time. The Italian yacht designer Absolute exhibited the latest model "Absolute 47 Fly". The boat premiere also had luxury sailboat First 53 Yacht, the motorboats Terra Nauta 28, Merry Fisher 795 Series 2, Saxdor 200 Sport and Rand Mana 23 as well, so as the catamarans Excess 12 and Elba 45, of which Elba 45 will be included in Nautilus Yachting boat charter offer in the following season.
Boat Show welcomed many visitors, exceeding all expectations. This was certainly due to the warm and sunny weather and the slightly longer duration of the fair, which was extended to five days, i.e. until 25 October, in order to raise the safety measures to a higher level, due to current circumstances.
